What is the difference between a Harrycane and an Eder power gouge.
What is the difference between a Harrycane and an Eder power gouge.
Harrycane: it gives you more reach and with the 2" tip you can fit into tighter places. Great for finish work. Fits on the Smaller saws.
Eder Power Gouge: if you really want to move wood this is the gouge. Bob often uses it along with his blocking saw. You can also do finish work, but it does not fit into tight places. This gouge requires a medium size saw power head.
Just like you have a saw for blocking and one for finish work. The gouges each have their purpose. Which one is right for you depends a lot on what you are wanting to use it for.
